$80.00 (non-refundable) application fee is due at the time of registration.
It will be used to purchase an USA Track and Field (USATF) membership
card, which is required for athlete participation and a uniform.
Registration Packets are due 7 days after received. NO ATHLETES
WILL RUN UNTIL MONIES ARE PAID IN FULL AND ALL DOCUMENTS ARE RETURNED
AND AUDIT.
• Birth Certificates
2 copies of the birth certificate must accompany the application.
Applicants will not be able to participate in the track meet until
the copies have been submitted. (Please include a most update photograph
of yourself school picture Elementary, Middle, Jr. High, and of
High School ID)
• Returned Check Fee
There will be a $25.00 charge on all returned checks.
• Uniforms
Provided to all athletes whose fees are paid in full.
• Spikes
Athletes will need to purchase their own spikes
• Practice
Three (3) days a week - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Note) Times
and sites may vary.
• Track Meets
Registration fees must be paid in advance in order for an athlete
to compete. (No exceptions will be allowed). Meets will be held
at various locations around the city. Athletes will register the
last day of practice with Coach and Registrar before the track meet
with money due. NO EXCEPTION COACHES, unless YOU pay out of pocket
for athletes. ATHLETES will NOT run until monies are PAID.
• Meet Fees
Be prepared to pay a nominal fee for entrance into the meets. The
cost is usually $3.00 to $5.00 for athletes and $2.00 to $5.00 for
spectators. Meets for qualifying rounds and nationals will be assessed
differently.
• Committee Volunteers
Committees will be formulated to keep the Texas Cyclones organized.
Interested parent assistance is welcomed.
• Team Parents
Each age group will need a team parent. Team parents will assist
the coach in calling
Athletes to inform them of new information or changes. Record the
athletes' times at
Track meets. If you are interested talk with coaches and registrar.
• Fund Raising Participation
All participation is required to take part in our fundraiser.
